Kim have you spoken to the principal?
My sister was bullied in school, and the teachers were awful to her because they constantly asked her why she couldn't be more like me. I liked school, I had friends, I did well in class etc. She was behind a lot because of medical issues she needed time off for, kids wouldnt sit next to her because she had excema etc, one teacher even gave her detention for using her asthma inhaler without asking permission.
The school had no idea until my mum went in there and freaked out on them

Im so sorry your daughter is going thru that Kim!
You know what...tell her that those popular kids one day will not be popular and there so called "friends" will sooner or later all be gone. I was not popular by any means in HS...I had friends yes but let me tell you once I got to college I met some amazing ppl. I don't have 100's of friends now but I do have a handful of friends and I would rather have 4 good friends then 100 blah friends! Kids can be so cruel...but you know what is always the "outcasts" that go on to accomplish great things!

Can she go to a different school?
I know when I was in school I was the RJECT because I looked awkward and I always had an A+ average. Not to mention my school at 138 students from K-11 so once the 'cliques' were made it lasted until I graduated HS.
I was miserable and depressed as a kid until I changed schools where I got a frsh start and made friends. Mind you I was never part of the "in" crowd but I didn't care. My geeky friends were real friends and I'd never had any before I was in Gr9.
It's no way to go through school when everyone hates you for reasons you don't control.
I'd seriously consider it if I were you. Probably the best thing you could do for her.

Went to Loblaws before work...and they had 4 carts full of bagged and boxed candy marked to a one day special of $2. I managed to get 3 boxes before the lady with 2 cart loads took the rest...then she grabbed the caramilk from a man and he was like hey that is my cart haha it was funny. But like come on she literally had 30 boxes of chocolate.

Oh boy sister do I here ya! In the last few weeks I have been considering starting up a petition to the government to get rid of this bloody system we have.
Kim I hate to say it but all we can do is try to keep things as positive as possible. Find the spec of good in every situation and try to keep her going. I am at the point right now where I just want him to get through high school without becoming another drop out statistic and then after that we can figure out where he will get his education It certainly won't be from the system we have now. I don't care what anyone says and this is not just my opinion but one that many of my friends share. They do NOTHING in school. Just ask the kids what they do all day.
