i wish there was a way of submitting the UPCs via email or just typing in the code rather than sending it in...oh well i guess its their way of stopping ppl from sharing codes and scamming

If you collect Hbc points and want to convert that to Futurarewards, you can do that through Points.com If you sign up with Points.com you get a bonus for signing up.
Then join essoextra.ca. Convert your hbc points to essoextra points and for 1000 esso points you get $5 Futura.
50k hbc points = 1000 esso extra
So to do all this you have to sign up at points.com then add your programs, hbc and essoextra. You need both to trade the points over.

Also, if you shop at Save On Foods, 12,000 save on more points can get you a $25 certificate to Futura rewards.

Thanks to this thread, I signed up for this program and am excited to get started. I'm confused about some things though.

For example, Crest toothpaste is a "participating product" and is available in-store only and I have to show my futura card at time of check out. Can I only shop at the participating stores (ie. Co-op) or can I go to any store (ie. Walmart, Sobeys) to buy the product?

Also, do you get sent a futura card automatically? I just signed up today.

For crest products you get the credit only when you buy at participating stores.
And you will be mailed a futura card automatically.

So can someone explain how to change HBC points to Futura??? I can't see any way to convert them into Esso points. I can see the EssoExtra to Futura under the EssoExtra heading but when I looked at Points.com site the list they have showing under converting HBC point into other points is

I can't see EssoExtra on there. Am I missing a step?? or did it used to be there but now its not?? Hbc points are the only ones I have so if I can't convert them in some way this program is almost useless since the amount of effort it will take to collect UPCs from products I don't use may end up being counter productive. I finally received the Futura card but it is useless since there are no stores here that take that card.

yes i signed up with the first link at the beginning of the post, and typed in the code, and got $10 credited to my account. but don't look like i'll have enuf upc's to send in this quarter to make it worthwhile (they take $2 in service charges if under $10).

Here is the ? for long-time collectores of Futura:
remember how they had tide and then took it off? do you think they may bring it back? I understood that they had Pampers UPC before then took it of the tally charts for a period and then now Pampers are back again. I keep all Tide UPC's just in case...
