Best Part of the Weekend

• i don't have to work this weekend
• i get to spend more quality time with my cat
• im cooking all my favourite foods
• lots of alone time, not dealing with annoying people
• read
• sleep
• surf the net
• watch tv

The best part for me is having my husband off work, and son not in school, so I get to see more of them!

My weekend routine is to get up at 5:30 followed by:

• long (7-10km) walk where I can be alone with my thoughts and watch the sun come up
• breakfast at a leisurely pace
• (LOL, this is the silly one) DH and I watch reruns of "The Littlest Hobo" for an hour (CTV runs it every Sat& Sun) - and no, we don't have kids

For the rest of the day, we do whatever needs to be done - housework, schoolwork, go for a hike, visit friends, etc. My fave part, though, is what I wrote above.... from 5:30 to 9 is my relaxation and vegging out time. It is really the best part of the weekend and I don't know what I'd do without it!

I work Fridays and Saturday nights till 4 am, so I wake up at about noon...

cleaning
Relaxing after cleaning
Dinner
Spending time with DH (if he is home)
Work at 8:00

Best part of my weekends...
-sleeping in
-having a nice big breakfast with BF and a coffee while reading the newspapers
-watching old 80's reruns in the am while having another coffee lol
-walking our dog together and exploring and not having to rush
-making dinner together
-watching as many movies as we like

not having wrestle to kids into snow suits at 7:30am
not having to put on make up or blow dry my hair
get to enjoy cooking dinner, not just making something to fill everyone's belly's
reading the Saturday paper
playing with the kids

- got to see my best friend

- get to have a few drinks
