I can't wait!!!! AAHHHH!!!! I've never redeemed and Hubby and I are so excited about $250!!! I can't imagine redeeming 2 or 4 or even 8 times like some other lucky people!!! All our Christmas shopping is done and wrapped, so no presents for us (I was done mid-November!!) and so Hubby told me to get myself stuff....except I have NO IDEA what to buy! I'm getting perfume and Quo brushes and make-up for Christmas (that helped me get up to my now 99,000 points) so I think I'm going to get him a blu-ray player and then other than that.... :S???? We are moving to a new place on December 28 so I don't want to stack up on groceries because we won't have as much freezer room anymore! And I don't have a baby or a pet....this is really hard!
Does anyone else find that when you actually have money/gift cards/bonus point redemptions, it is REALLY HARD to spend the money if you don't have anything in particular that you need for gifts or food or household items??? And then when you don't have that money, you walk around a store and go..."Oh man, if I only had $50 I would buy this!!" or am I the only crazy one???

I totally hear you on that one! thanks to various deals, coupon savings and prior redemptions, It's taking me some time to put my list together. I walked through my house and looked in cupboards to see what we needed...only to find I have a stash of something almost everywhere! not a bad problem to have! Anywho, I do need grocery items and have room and will pick up some stuff in electronics (Wii remote, clock radio) and then will splurge on a few larger gift items for immediate family.

I bought my stuff! I met my sister downtown at 9:30am and I got my wii (in black) and on sale for $199 and wii fit plus on sale for $89.99. Also got DH a gift (tools, who'd think they would have these), snacks for x-mas, eggs, rechargable batteries and kit and ended up buying three bags of cheese to spend enough! Going tonight and DH and I are buying our gifts for each other. I AM SO EXCITED! BEST CHRISTMAS EVER! I had a bunch of GC's too so ended up only $11.03 I had to spend out of pocket. Also when I came home, got another $10 GC, so tonight won't cost much either.

This will be just my 2nd redemption. If I am redeeming $250, do I have to buy $250 before taxes?
Or, does the $250 get applied like a gift card to your whole purchase including taxes. Thanks!

You have to spend $250 before taxes, and pay the tax out of your own pocket I'm afraid.
I always buy a gift card first for the tax amount, get a few more points!

I have enough points for two mega redemptions but I am redeeming for nothing, nada, zip, ziltch. My store room is bursting at its seams and yesterday it made me slightly nauseated seeing how much "stuff" I've accumulated. My early New Year's resolution is to use what I have, regardless if I can get things pennies a piece or even FREE. Even FPCs for items I already have lots of will be gifted. I want a store room where I can see the walls again. So no more reading brags (too tempting) and I will have to be content with what I already have.

SDM sells K-Cups.
The simply food cheesecake regular price is 6.99.
Going to get 2 of them and then use the 2000 WUS $10 printable coupon.

Amen! lol. I'm redeeming only because i have seriously deprived myself of buying some luxury items this year. Seriously, lol. But I MUST force myself now to ride off of the things i have accumulated, and avoid the temptation of almost free items. But what I plan to do also, is save all those HV coupons for things I can get nearly free, and if it's seriously on sale at SDM on 20x the points day, I will use them there, and there only lol. If I hadn't got all excited and anxious when I got the Olay coupons and ran around using them at No Frills, Zellers, etc, I would have been able to use them at SDM if I'd just been patient, and gotten them almost free with a TON of points.
So yes, USE stockpile, spend WAY less, and be PATIENT with the deals lol. Those are some of my resolutions!

A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.... what more can I say........
