Free chocolate! Free for animal shelter! One big free spree!

Mmm, chocolate... -Homer style drool- Especially FREE chocolate! :D I love it. So, in order to donate to my local animal shelter, I was emailed FPC's for dog food, and treats! YAY! I printed off ten of each, and went to WM in Moncton, and cleaned their shelf off (I didn't feel too bad- it's for charity ), and got the treats.

So, I get to the checkout, expecting to have to be told that I have to go through multiple times- that's fine. Well, what happens? They tell me I can only have ONE bag. Aggravated, I told them to give me my coupons back, and left everything on the counter, quite POed. (It was the natural defense FPC's)

So... I head over to Superstore on main street (one across from Penningtons), and what does my eye spy? A coupon for beneful dog treats taped to a bag! Someone played coupon fairy! So this is what I got there...


Superstore

9 x 3 kg bags of dog food 12.99= 116.91- FPC= 15.21 OOP, and that was taxes! (They only had nine bags, LOL. She says she charged me for ten? -confused- I had to go, I didn't care about 1.69 each. )

Natural Defense dog treats 4.99- FPC= .65 cents in taxes!

Zellers

9 x Natural defense dog treats (can't remember price)- FPC= FREE!
1 x Natural Defense dog food- FPC= FREE!

Some doggies will be veeeeery happy at the shelter. If only I had cat food FPC's.

Wal-mart

Smart Kraft Dinner 1.00- 1.00= FREE!

Cashier seemed sooo reluctant to take this, almost... jealous. This went to food bank.

Total before coupons? 44.51.

I got a lemonade, bringing my total w/taxes to 11.91, paid for with a GC, so really all free!

Stouffers 1.97 x 6= 11.82 x 2.00 x 2= 7.82
Degree 2.97- FPC= FREE!

I did pretty good, I think.
