I can't believe I never knew this thread existed!

Just wanted to add some additional tips about SCENE points (sorry if this has already been posted!).

SCENE points - earn points either with black SCENE card when you pay for movies (also
get 10% off concession purchases) or with SCENCE debit card (red) offered at Scotiabank.

Get 100 points per transaction (not per ticket; e.g, if you buy two tickets, do two separate transactions). Limit of 200 points per membership per day. Receive 10% off movie tickets on Tuesdays. New members will receive a 250 points sign-up bonus.

SCENEtourage: Create a group of 3-10 friend/family members and earn bonus SCENE points. Earn 50 bonus points when 2 or more members of your SCENEtourage see a movie together (max. 50 bonus points per membership a day). Members must use their SCENE card at the same theatre within a 1-hour period or online during the same calendar day. Bonus points will be awarded within 48 hours. There are also on-going contest promos for SCENEtourage groups.

hey Abby1, glad you found this thread and thanks for adding the SCENE info...will add it to the main list of info! Had no idea re SCENEtourage...sounds interesting! I have to find my card...earned a free movie and can't recall which wallet it's in! grrr! LOL!

In other news, I earned $75 from a focus group last night! So excited about that bump in the christmas fund...bought two prezzies today.

Clixsense continues to be good to me: almost $30 earned between Dec 2 and today- this will be my 4th cash out since Nov 19...in total I've earned $81.19!!!!!

I've also resurrected my airmiles card: redeemed $10 on a cereal deal at Metro and earned a lot of air miles...on my way to another $10 redemption very soon.

off to catch some netflix before heading to bed! Happy Friday!!!

not sure if I did a really good deal but bought $150 in gc from cardswap - earned 1200 points for it and then ordered $10 HBC gc with my points and it was discounted to 800 points instead of 1000. All gcs I would have used anyways.

I'm always impressed with all the ways we "make" money! I found a quarter in the grass. Yes - still green grass! I just finished evaluating a product for Pinecone but haven't been "recompensed" as yet. This is the first time I've been asked to do this, so I don't know what the pay is, but the product was good.

I've tried products 2x - they paid $5 for the survey that asks you if you are willing to try it and then another $5 for the survey you do after you try it.

I got re-embersed (that doesn't look right) today from my insurance company for a mouth guard that I didn't think was covered! It's hardly "extra" money but they paid 80% of the cost and I was counting on having to pay the whole thing! Yay! (Over $300) - Now I won't bite my tongue in the night! ouch!

Got a check from Costco for $15.55, we get our membership as a Christmas gift from hubby's parents, so that's free money! I hope to get a better check this coming year as I upgraded to their no fee cash back card.
Got a check for $50 from MBNA cash back card. When I first signed up I got 5% on gas and groceries(up to $600) and then 3% on everything else, no limit for the first 6 months. Now, I get 2% on gas and groceries(up to $400) and 1% on anything else. 2012 my income from my MBNA card was $450! I learned that if I go through their special offers to buy my groupons from now on I get 3% cash back. I just bought a groupon the regular way! Also, Shutterfly I can get 9%! Which is awesome as I buy a bunch of calendars every year! There are lots more but these are 2 I use.
I got $20 in groceries with my PC points. I only used the PCMC card for special gas deals, the ones where you get 25 cents or more to use your PCMC at their gas bar, so I was pretty happy with this!In my city they just recently changed the rules so that if you use your PCMC to pay for your gas at the gas bar they give you 7 cents gas bucks instead of 3.5! This month I got $19.26 in gas bucks which is double what I would have got! If I did the calculations right those 3 fills will mean just over $3 in points as well!
I got 2 checks from Checkout 51 this month. Grand total $54.50!

Got $22 so far this month selling the boys old clothes as well as placed an Indigo.ca order worth $33.33 which was free(used eg's earned from Web Perspectives). Also cashed out $20 in Old Navy e-gc's from Swagbucks and ordered a $15 Starbucks GC with my Huggies points( waiting patiently for it to arrive).
