    I'm so chicken right now!

I live in a triplex and I'm home alone in the old house. DH went to see a stand up comic (Daniel Lemire), and neighbors #1 is out for the week-end with neighbors #2. With all the wind the house is making strange noise. Even the cats are on edge. Grrr.....

I'm going to start the washing machine and the dish-washer so I won't hear the noise...

Abouret, I know what you mean. The wind is really bad and, even with everyone here at home, it still scares me.

It used to be Zellers warehouse.

It's open Saturdays and everything is 25% -50% off and most are end of line, floor models, demoes etc. all come with full warrenty and they sell extra 50 months warrenty for $105 I did not take it but the guy let me think about it for 60 days and I would still be able to get it. I am thinking about it. Mine has a couple of dents and a scratch BIG DEAL it's purring like a kitten, lol.

They have all brands low end to high end.

Abouret - neighbours are all out ... pour a glass of wine and blast the music. Have a dance party to block out the wind.

not much of a wine drinker or any alcohol...

I guess watching Dateline: Real Life mysteries is not helping either. I think I should watch Puss in boots. Maybe the cats will be happy by that choice...

It's not so much the type of seed but the type of plant LN... Eggplants, peppers, can be done in pots. I had a couple tomatoes in 12" pots last summer, 1 determinate 1 indeterminate... the rest were in beds. Pole beans don't require too much room. Spinach and lettuce I've grown in windowboxes no problem. Many herbs can also grow in pots... some like more room. I grew catnip and found that the plants I gave bigger pots too performed better. what are you growing and what size pots are you using ? I've started to plan too... are you starting your seeds indoors ?

Ok.. you got me thinking and created a monster I grew straightneck summer squash in a milk crate last year... very good production but I'm sure it would've produced better with more room to grow... that... and powdery mildew got to it later in the season.

Sweet potatoes I grew in a recycling bin and a laundry basket last year... production was small and I think it's partly because I didn't give them enough room. Will try again this year by doubling their space.

Thanks for that. I've got electrics from B&M liquidation centres before. I'm not to concerned about dents and scratches if they are floor models as long as they work.

    Hi everyone,
Has anyone ever been to the Chinese Buffet Foo Lam for lunch during the week? (the one in Ville St-Laurent, but there are others too).
I'm wondering if they have the same selection of sushi during the day as they do for dinner.
Also, does anyone know how much their lunch costs?
I haven't been able to find their website.

    thanks!

Went to Maxi in RDP and they have hundreds of Pantene, Treseme, Herbel Essence and Dove, shampoos and hair care products with PINK stickers on them and a lot of these items are also on liquidation. Pantene was $3.47 - 50% - $2.50 WUB2 a pretty good deal. They had big bottles and regular ones.

Also saw Live Clean, LaCoupe and some other brands with pink sitckers.

I didn't get any though I was a good girl lol.
