I myself find it quite difficult to choose my favorite, however Green Eggs and Ham is the one I quote quite often.

Strange, I haven't read most of the books on the list! But we still read
Dr. Seuss’s ABC: An Amazing Alphabet Book, There's a Wocket in my Pocket, ABC, Go Dog Go, Mr. Brown can Moo and lots more. The kids love it and actually learned a lot about what words start with and it helped increase their vocabulary. The W walrus wearing a wig in water was my son's favorite. We ordered him a stuffed walrus for Christmas one year and he loved it so much.LF: Chapman's ice cream and Dare coupons. DS has a peanut allergy so it's the ONLY ones we buy. Lots FT.

His books are just SO awesome! I like both types he did - the very easy reader ones, then the larger format, more complex books.
Son's favourites were the Cat in the Hat, One Fish Two Fish....; Fox in Socks, ABC book, Hop on Pop, In a People House, and Green Eggs and Ham.
As for me - The 500 hats of Bartholomew Cubbins, Yertle the Turtle and other stories - and all the above!
