check out recycle type stores, got 2 from sally ann type store last year, one was new, other used a couple of times(one was free the other 10.00)

Yes, I've been keeping my eyes peeled in those spots, Kijiji too. My first bread machine was a B&D that I got at a yard sale for $20. It was great until we lost the paddle!
The newer B&D model was on sale for a great price, but sucked.

I just got a breadman from Home Outfitters it was $100 but they will take competitors coupons so you could print out the 20% off from @bed bath and beyond and use that.

We bought refurbished Cuisineart from Tiger Direct for $49.99 plus an extended 2 years warranty for $20.
