We usually meet at a food court, somewhere along the subway line, usually near either King or Union station.

Technically it's a coupon swap, but we also socialize & I usually bring snacks. If you're not afraid of being surrounded by a group of gals, you're very welcome to join us.

There's one gal who comes out regularly who posts on here very rarely, & I think there are a couple of other folks from here planning to come out in the spring. As far as I'm concerned, the more the merrier.

If you go to the tab at the top marked Local, then Toronto, you'll see a thread of when the meets are. I'll also try to remember to post reminders here. As I said before, all are welcome. & there are usually cupcakes!

Ok, you asked for it TNSNF

Okay, I have to ask, if only to satisfy my own curiosity. What is with this obsession you seem to have with reposting what another member posted only minutes before?

Not saying there's a rule against it, but it just seems like if someone posted a quote it's sure to be re-posted within ten minutes. We don't need confirmation of a quote. (sound familiar)

    (I am only kidding).
Go ahead and say it. Smart A$$

It's too bad he didn't return for the TV series.

Honestly, I was just about to complain that I never got one. But then I realized that it was probably a typo so I kept my mouth shut.

Acutally, I was in the middle of posting when w*rk got in the way.

Sometimes takes a few minutes to locate a picture, working around the web-blocker here. Sometimes it'll show up on a google image search, but the web-blocker hinders me from viewing the image posted on the site. (gotta make sure it fits on the screen, and won't break the site)

In future, please keep further bickering to PM in order to keep everything copacetic here. m'kay?

Traffic wasn't the issue - it was the other drivers on the roads.

What are people's thoughts on bringing in a law like Quebec where you MUST have snow tires on from December to March?

    I'm all for it!!!!!!
It is an excellent idea, but you'd still have to teach the slightly over cautious drivers how to drive or at least try to teach them to be more comfortable with driving in the snow.
Also alot would say "but I can't afford that!!".. I can't afford the insurance for my vehicle but the law mandates it and somehow most of us find a way..lol

It all depends on where one lives and drives. In the greater GTA where we get very little snow on the roads, but lots of rain and slush, all-season radials are far better and safer than snow tires any day, in any situation. If you live outside the GTA however where snow is frequent and often heavy, yes, snow tires will get you around better than radials. I live in Toronto. I do not want snow tires on my car.

    Hi Andit

Well if I followed this right it looks like will be at the former BCE Place, near the SDM, for our upcoming meeting possibly on February 23rd?

My move is not scheduled till March 8th, so I will keep a look at this link.

    Thanks>>>>>ChouChou

i'll likely get snow tires for my NEXT vehicle...
But the Aerostar does quite well without them.
It's quite solid, and truck-like. I've never had any trouble in wintry weather, with the electronic 4WD that kicks in when needed, otherwise it's just rear wheel drive...
Its a 1995, and i insist that its a collector's item, not an extinct dinosaur.
