    Loocie is feeling very under the weather today.

    Headache & chills so I am at home today.

    Have a great day everyone.
    You want me to put on my nurses uniform and make a house call??

    Hot soup, warm blankie and a thermometer to take your temperature with?

    Heck if you write me a poem I'd even hold the tissue while you blew your nose!

    Hope you feel better!!
    The only question I cannot answer... why?

    Sort of reminds me of the hilarious WKRP in Cincinnati Thanksgiving show where they dropped the turkeys, sans the parachutes.

    Well folks, I finally caught up with all the reading on their thread, and managed to rep you all before I got to the penalty box.

    SillyLoocie
    Get well soon

    Glad you are enjoying the reps. Hope you like todays!

    Mmmme
    Yeah, I hate it when you get to rep two whole people then get sent to the penalty box.

    All you SCers in the Niagara Peninsula, sorry about your snow. Do us a favour and don't send it up here.

    Well folks, have to get back to work now. Catch you on the flipside!

    Thanks for the words and trivia overnight I could only rep a couple times before I was sent to the box, so I'll have to get the rest of you later on

    Have a great day everyone!

    Something interesting...

    In Canada , instead of applying for Old Age Pension, you should rather apply for the Status of Refugee..
    It IS interesting to know that the federal Government of Canada allows:
    A monthly pension of : $1,890.00 to a simple refugee
    plus : 580.00 insocial aid
    ==========
    A grand total of : $2,470.00 monthly
    X 12 months
    ==========
    $28,920.00 annual income

    By comparison, the Old Age Pension of a senior citizen who has contributed to the development of
    Our Beautiful Big Country during 40 or 50 years, CANNOT receive more than :

    Amount/month $1,012.00 in Old Age Pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement
    X 12 months
    ============
    $12,144..00 annual income
    A difference of : $16,776.00 per year
    Perhaps our seniors should ask for the Status of Refugees instead of applying for Old Age Pension.

    Unfortunately the US has a similar problem. Thousands enter the US illegally every month, decide to stay, and then expect the same or better benefits than many of its citizens have, not to mention the many jobs that are lost by its citizens to those illegal immigrants in the process.

    No answer yet but dealing with a very diplomatic principal has frustrated me to tears.
    Just because something isn't right for YOU doesn't mean it's wrong.
