It's a great day to stay inside, get horizontal & escape into a book,
Maybe clean out or cranny, or maybe just clean out a nook,
Hey, spend a bit of time yacking on the phone,
& if you are lucky, spend the whole day alone,
Sometimes on days like this I dream of other places,
I think of people who have touched my life & can almost feel their faces,
Times when you were young & you believed 1’st impressions to be true,
When you felt the hope in politics, cause you shared that very view,
When cashing your cheque on a Friday night would set your weekend in motion,
Or when you hoped you’d get a call from the one who owned your devotion,
When TV Stations signed off the air & sent us all to bed,







































& now you have found me reminiscing again, here on our club “Q” thread.

SillyLoocie here I sit with my first cup of coffee for the day and reading your
poem just made my day.You are one of those people that have touched my life with your words that I can almost feel your face,yes picnic this summer for us Smart Canuckers is a must.Ill bring the fudge !

Ive heard of St Jacobs Chers and supposed to be an amazing place for shopping im told.
The fudge I make all the time is actually a low fat fudge (chocolate)the hard
kind and its delicious and only 2 grams of fat and 110 calories in a good size
piece! Its so good if you want the recipe let me know

Good morning fellow Canucks!

Wow, I managed to come in first for the 10:15 word. Now, if I can only win first prize on the Tim Hortons Roll Up the Rim to Win contest, then we would really be cooking. Unfortunately I haven't quite made it to Timmys just yet.
