Morning All .. well got through my two shifts once again. enjoyed the morning at the Train show in Cobourg. I am not into trains but took someone there. interesting stuff.

After being awake from 8pm Fri night to 5pm sat . The other half wanted ribs so off to
Montana's we went. for three of us the bill was $93 in change. I couldn't believe the price it has been while since I went to a restaurant like that won't be going for along time again.. Is there any Cheap Restaurants to go to?

Good morning, everyone. I think I overdid it a bit yesterday, but hey, it was worth it to be out & about in that lovely weather. I'll likely overdo it again today. I can always pay for my sins when the weather turns bad & I'm stuck in the dungeon.

After admiring Chers1 picture taken in Allegany I was inspired to post this picture I took in Robert Treman State Park, just outside of Ithica New York.

What an absolutely beautiful area! I think I'll be going back to NY this summer. It's an economical vacation in a gourgeous spot!

But I do have to admit that the REAL reason for my trip was this:

They are all quite pricy, what I found is find a good local mom and pops shop, the smaller places are priced well, you might not get a large a selection, but eventually you will find one with lots of choices and good eats.

Hope everyone got out & got a bit of sunshine today.

I met a friend for lunch & we ended up sitting out on the patio (which technically wasn't open) people watching. There was still a bit of bite to the wind, but the sun made it all better.

When I got home, I took Lily dog out for a while, then took Quincy cat out to the bench in front of my building. By then it was a bit late for the tourists & getting chilly, so we weren't out there very long (I didn't put his coat on so he was a bit miffed!).

The only bad part of today was discovering that my little old cell phone is officially deceased. The poor fellow at the store just about fainted when I told him it was 9 yrs old. So tomorrow I get to learn how to use the new one I picked up. They were good enough to give me a discount & are recycling the relic (maybe I should have offered it to a museum instead?), so life's not too bad, altho I'm still mourning the old phone. So, now I'm on phone #4 since 1990 (I had a lemon that only lasted 2 yrs in there, the others had long lives). The model I got was recommended, because it tended to last a bit longer, since I apparently like to keep my phones for a few yrs (again, poor fellow was horror struck at the thought!).

Maybe the critters can figure out how it works, they're smarter than me.

I got lots of sun yesterday, and now today I have chores and one more hockey game of the season..my son's last game of his youthful career(he is 18) he has never... really never been on a winning team and this year they are fighting for top spot today at 3..wish us luck

Well all

Not sure how useful I'll be in the next little while as mother is visiting, so i am spending lots of time with her. If you don't hear from me again it's because I have to stop and take care of mom

I have sneaked onto this morning as mother is still sleeping so I have some time to spare with you all, I have repped where I could.

I took her to the mall yesterday and wheeled her around all day. Last night I finally was able to celebrate my lay off, turned out to be twofold as my daughter got her 1st acceptance to University, Laurier responded. She is going to wait and see what other offers come in before accepting.

P.S. I have a job right now and must admit it is enjoyable, driving the wife to work and picking her up each day.
