I changed the auto-save interval from every 1 minute to every 5 minutes. Please let me know if this fixes the problem. If it does not I will disable auto-save altogether.

I just tried again and it is still just as slow. WebRep

*waves at everyone* - If you can include which browser you are using when you post your issue (Chrome, FF, IE etc) and the version it can omit Boo having to ask you for the information before being able to fix the issue.

You can find the version you are on by clicking the Help > About in your browser.



Oh and WTH is with the PURPLE font for the threads that I'm subscribed to?? It looks like Barney did something inappropriate on the page...

I like being able to see the threads I am subscribed to at a quick glance...and I actually like auto-save as I can't count the number of times I have lost a message...

we use to be able to see all our own threads inluding expired ones under quick links seperate from subscribed.

I have some suggestions / comments
- underlining links so people realise they are links (they currently just look like text)
- after visiting a few pages the whole site seems to lag (FF11.0) I get hanging white pages or partially loaded pages
- the quick reply box can't keep up with my typing - it used to be that once you clicked on it, you could type, now you have to wait or you lose the first word or so
- the fonts still seem 'off' in the dates of messages in a thread, they seem so thin they appear almost blurry against the red, in others they are thicker (see screenshots)
- it has been mentioned but I dislike the green and could some of these menus not be made smaller so they don't take up so much space

I can notice the lab too and I'm not sure what's causing it but will investigate.

I disabled auto-save. Can you see if the editor lag got minimized a bit?

Will work on the look too because I agree it does still feel off. And will try finding the source of the lag.

Do you know what's still missing? Not sure if this is already on your to-do list, but there used to be a little + to click on for each thread - that would open just the first post without opening the entire thread. Thanks
