I tried them as I had samples and I tell you I will not be again. They can go on the banned to be in this house list along with Gain.

The smell ... UGH! It was bad. And the thing was that only some of them smelled really really bad and others didn't smell at all so it kinda made me wonder. Plus, way too expensive.

I've tried the sunlight pacs and I like them a lot better. When I used them there actually was no smell to my laundry which is better then stink.

This all being said I will stick to my cheapo liquid thanks. And DH will stick to the couch so I don't have the same issues others have when they mix a DH with liquid detergent.

Hahaha - the 'gain' experiment. Samples can both help & hinder sales eh?

Glad for the feedback on the sunlight pods though. I think those are going to get a try from me. Baby girl is making trips to the basement laundry room more & more onerous every day!

aw I got one with my Pg sampler and I was going to try them and see if they got the stench of stale milk out and clean better than the liquid detergent my parents get...the downside of working as a barista - coffee and stale milk smell on clothes

    i got a sample..
i didn't care much for them..i was orginally afraid it wasn't going to break open in the wash, it did, but it was almost like it didn't
not very clean smelling or clean for all that matter
i did however do another load of kids clothes with my sample of sunlight pod and LOVED IT. Fresh smelling and super clean. too bad i am too cheap to pay for the expensiveness of the pods/pacs
    i will stick to liquid

I have not tried the sunlight pods yet...maybe when they go on sale I will give them a try. Tried the Tide Pods again (Got another sample) and waited for it to disslove. This time it didn't really and I had to break it myself. I got all the soap on my hands more so than in the water lol.

my husband uses them (for the last 2 month)if he is working in camp to wash his clothes. we just found out he is allergic against them(allergy started when he started using the tabs). he never had an allergy before to any laundry detergent. we have to stop these pods now. they also didn't clean his work clothes really god. :-(

I used them on my dog's towels and his clothe, it seemed to dissolved. I dont know about the smell though...since the smell of the fabric softener masks the smell

I can't use any Tide products. There is something in them that I'm allergic to. I can tell immediately if Tide is used because I get an itchy rash. I have the same problem with Cheer, Gain, and a few other brands too.

I recived several samples and have a standard top loader and these worked (disolved) perfectly. I wouldn't buy them again simply because they are more costly and I find cheaper detergents such as gain work just as well.

Just wanted to add that I put the pod in first and let my washer fill a third before adding items...maybe this is why they disolved better for me?

    Cheers,

I tried one of these in my top loader, placed it in waited for it to desolve which it didn't . put my clothes in anyway and once there were done i took them out only to find the 'goo' all over them and not washed. not impressed. went to email tide and it threw my complaint away.
