Oooooo ferrero rocher!!! I love this chocolate.

oh and i love your new camera too. Eventually, I'd like a new camera and i'm not going for one of those small digital one. I want a more professional camera. I think you did great on your camera.Last edited by Purdee; Tue, Jan 4th, 2011 at 10:14 PM.

I thought I wanted a professional one too--with the awesome huge lens... but after a some chit chat with a camera know it all (ah hem, daughter's father, lol) and some research--changed my mind. It costs a lot more. And most have rechargeable batteries... which I don't want. this is similar to my previous one, but much better quality, a few more options and such and a step above mr know it all's old camera that I loved A TON... so yes, you go for it and get a new camera! Awesome ones out there and good prices, too! just do the research and make sure it IS what you want.
PS-mr know it all doesn't mind being called that, so no one jump me that I am being mean.

It is for her, really.

Actuallly, happy about this one as about a month ago I spotted these with no price tag on them. Brought one to the cashier for a price check... $2.50. Not what I was willing to pay! Walk in today, see a cart labeled "clearance"--and AH HA! There is a wand... $0.50. Game for that!
I like... I mean, daughter likes it.

I have a digital SLR as well as a point and shoot and there is no comparison to which is better, BUT, the DSLR is way more expensive and the lenses are even more expensive! I keep the point and shoot in my bag but if I want to take serious photos the DSLR is definitely the way to go. I have a middle of the road lens for the DSLR that cost almost $400 but to get the next level it's at least double the cost so if you aren't ready to spend that kind of money, don't do it! It's a great hobby but it's pricey!
