I am brand new to couponing and found the following today at Zellers and Walmart with my husband - we are total coupon addicts now! We got some great buys and save TONS of money!!!! I just had to share..

Jan 10, 2011 - Total Haul - Coupon Savings of $130.50 in one day!! YAY!!

Found some Christmas Gift packs on sale too! Old spice one was marked down to $3.50 - bought a $2.00 deodorant so that I could apply the $3.00 off when you buy 2 so works out to .50 cents for the gift pack! WOW!

Purchased on sale and applied coupons - secret deodorant was FREE - Shave Gel was FREE, Fleecy was FREE and Old Spice was .55 cents ea after coupons were applied! Can't get much cheaper than that! The Nestle Chocolate bar 3 pk was marked down to $1.14 and the 11 pack of Christmas lollypops were marked down to $1.00...

The best deal EVER - see below!! - got these scented candles for 52cents per package!! (they were originally 8.99 marked down to $2.72 - applied BOGO coupon that I had from last month and it works out to $1.36 ea ) then applied a $10 gift card when you spend $10 on Glade product - ends up to be .52cents each!! for a pack of 4 - one of my best finds today!

Total savings on these products today: $130.50 in coupon savings!! Awesome day!

I can't wait for next month's brand saver!!

Good job! How much did you end up spending total?

Were the Glade candles from Zellers or WM?

We spent a total of 55.86 with total savings of $130.50...
The Glade Candles were at walmart - no shelf tag though - my dh scanned them to find that they were on sale for $2.47 ea - (check everything that is winter/christmas themed as most of them are on clearance now)...there was a coupon in the brand saver from before that was buy one glade candle and get one free (applies to ALL glade candles) so we bought 12 pkgs - and will apply the mail in offer of spend 10 get 10 (Walmart GC)...so they work out to be .52 cents each after the mail in rebate lands! - doin the happy dance!!

    Funny to quote myself!

I looked it up, and it's one mail in offer per person.
