Thread: My first donation :)
-
Mon, Jan 10th, 2011, 04:45 PM #1
I have been reading all the brags about people donating items, so I decided to give it a go. Today I donated 26 deodorant and 36 shaving cream to the Food Bank. I picked up 24 of the deodorants for $0.20, so with all my coupon stacks it cost me less than $2.00 for all of it. They were happy with the donation and said that they very rarely have personal hygiene products. What a great feeling and a great start to my week

That's wonderful of you. Doesn't it feel great to give (especially when it doesn't break the bank!)

Just a quick question here, does anyone know if we can get tax credit from any donation we madeÉ
