Hey all! Just wanted to let everyone know that RCSS emailed me back today saying that this does indeed constitute stacking and sent me a copy of their rules along with it. Apparently it falls under:

    2
.5 A coupon cannot be redeemed against the free” item in any offer where the customer buys more than one item to get one or more item for free (BOGO deals). Eg. Buy one bag of chips, get a second bag of chips free – a single coupon can be applied to the purchase of the two bags.

But you aren't using your coupon toward the free (BOGO) item, you are using it for the item you are purchasing, which you are still paying for. I think that phrase is for people who are trying to use two separate coupons, one for the original item and one for the free (BOGO) item. In my opinion, you are still fine.

You are doing exactly what they say, using a single coupon for two products.

The way they explained it to me (which I can't be bothered to argue with them about....$.88 for a 96 load is still going to be a great deal)....is that I can't use the B1G1 on the free item.....and therefore it has to be applied to the first item.......and since I'd be using the almost FPC for Item 1, they would be applying 2 coupons towards the one item.......hence the stacking.

I agree, not stacking. The FPC is for payment of the Purex Liquid and the second coupon is for the second product - the Purex Ultrapacks.

Is this just Ontario or everywhere in Canada?

Short Answer: Yes. You can stack one manufacturer's coupon and one coupon zone coupon on the same item. It is a recent change in policy.

it is stacking because both coupon offers are redeemed on the purchase of one product. for buying the purex, you are both saving money and getting the crystals for free.
