Sparky will sometimes go in the kitchen and just growl. He usually doesn't do this so it's freaky to me.
Or he'll 'bow' which he does if it want to play with us, totally facing the opposite direction. It's weird, but he'll start chasing things that aren't actually there.
Also he sleep walks, and i'll always find him in the corner of the bathroom scratching at the wall.Previously CanadianBella... I'm baaack!

when I was late teen/early twenty, I lived in the boonies. My then boyfriend was there, and I left for nightshift, leaving him there with my brother.
When I got back he was gone. What had happened, was he looked out the window and thought he saw his father looking back at him. He got weirded out by it, told my brother he thought he should go home and called a cab and went 20 minutes back to the city, only to be told his father had just passed!!!
His sister called my house looking for him but he had already left in the cab.

My cats sometimes sit and stare at the ceiling once in a while for no reason, so it could be...my sister who lived in the suite upstairs always claimed there were spirits there.I totally believe in ghosts/spirits and that not all of them are bad.

I've heard of this happening before...as if the deceased just wanted to say goodbye or see their loved ones for the last time...What a way to feel that there really is a connection between life and death...but I knew that already...

As for that cat and the nursing home patients, like Kim said, there was a tv show on it and it was unbelievable! Nadia, so true about them having something to cuddle with in their last days...
So it seems we've all had some experiences with our pets/children seeing spirits...and we're just a small (although very important!) slice of the millions of people who must be experiencing this...so interesting!

omg, thats a tad weird....when I was 18 I was home with a sore mouth because my wisdom teeth had been taken out...out of a dead sleep I heard my uncle call my name LOUDLY...woke me up, freaked me out, and I went and looked all over the house to see if anyone was there...no one...so I called my mother, and she had the same dream too, woke her up and all...my uncle had passed away 2 days prior, and we just figured it was him coming to say goodbye...but it was sooo freaky.

I once had a dream about this girl named Marie and it was based back a few decades, and there was a seamstress hemming a dress she was wearing, and they were talking about Marie and she kept saying " I didn't do it" . I was confused by what that meant, but It seemed SO real, then I saw a throw pillow with M.A stitched on it. I woke up and I was clutching my neck, took me a few seconds to realize I needed to stop because I could hardly breath (
not the smartest in the morning) and I googled Marie A (guessing it was her initials) and I got up Marie Antoinette. I had no clue who she was, but I saw a picture and it was the same girl in the dream. She was be-headed back in the late 1700's for treason. Creeped me out (especially that I had my hands on my neck)

Wow! I've never had much experience in this area but twice I've had someone call my name and wake me up - but no one there. One of the times I was staying at a friend's house in my home town. I had sneaked into town to join my brothers to have a "children's" portrait done that we were giving to our parents for Christmas. I didn't have an alarm clock to wake me up and asked the hostess to wake me so I could get to the appointment on time. Well, I heard her distinctly call my name - got up, had a shower - got dressed and went down to have breakfast before I left - only to find that it was only 5:00 am - No one had called my name - my appointment wasn't until 9:00 - But I distinctly heard someone call my name. - it creeped me out and here I was - all dressed up and nowhere to go for another 4 hours.

My pup Roxy is obsessed with anything paper. Every week when the flyers arrive, I put them up out of her reach, and each week never fail, she stares up at them longingly and cries the most heartbreaking cries. All she wants to do is rip them up into tiny pieces. LOL.
A few times she has bolted up in the middle of the night and stared straight into my closet....and growled a low, menacing growl. Scary, because this is a puppy who never growls, and it's hard to calm her down. Always between 3am and 4am. What is it about closets??? Ugh.Open a Tangerine bank account (formerly ING ) using my Orange Key (14507658S1), deposit $100 and we both get $25! Right now, receive up to $150 in bonuses and earn 2.50% interest!
