The blog 1000awesomethings.com has been adapted into three bestselling books. (1000awesomethings.com)Toronto blogger Neil Pashricha stated the blog after struggling with the suicide attempt of a friend and a failing marriage.
The daily posts of life's unappreciated delights were meant to cheer himself up, but the blog took off and has amassed 45 million hits in the last four years.
Pashricha has published three bestselling books based on the blog and has won three Webbie awards.
The blog is a collection of everyday things that make life great, like the first shower you take after not showering for a really long time (No. 946), hitting a bunch of green lights in a row (No. 919), watching old school '80s Saturday morning cartoons (No. 31) and when someone guesses you're way younger than you actually are.
And No. 10 is a pretty good one: Canada.

The times when you're up and going earlier than everyone else and it feels like the world is yours and yours alone. (One of the reasons I love going for walks before 6am - not just for the sunrise!)
