Awwww. That is very mature and reasonable of you to apologize Dave. I personally like your passion in how you feel about certain topics. I'd much rather hear that then APATHY.
We all mis-speak or have things come out the wrong way (especially me!) but it takes a big person to say sorry. . . .

Dave, I think, that 'knowing' you for some time on SC, I believe you wear your heart on your sleeve, and I respect your passion when debating subjects. I don't think I'm alone. Certain subjects are SO personal...so deeply ingrained in us, that we feel so deeply. I'm impressed with your passion. I admit I'm on your side in this debate, but I also respect those on the opposing side of this issue...Your apology is accepted, but, I feel, un-neccesary....passions can run hot, we accept this as truth.
The fact that we, as humans, can disagree and debate without taking it personally, is a great thing....and an honourable gift.
