My new lamp freeee

I've been looking for a decent cheap lamp for my one side table for a few months now, today while walking with a friend I found a free one on the curbside! YAY

It looks brand new!

Nice lamp, but for some reason I've conjured up an image of how it got on the curbside. Man runs from house, yelling 'It didn't mean anything', ducking as a lamp goes whizzing by his head and landing on the lawn. Miraculously undamaged and not liking how it was treated and being a close relative of the PIXAR lamp, begins to hop away. While hoping away, said lamp spies a lady with button eyes and thinks how nice she looks and stops in her path.

That is one BEAUTIFUL lamp! In my "made-up" story - the person is moving out on May 1st and fills car - ooops - not enough room for that last lamp! I'll be right back to get it......."And then along comes Sally...."

NICE LAMP.. well Sally if your city is anything like ours.. and you have a large schooling facility.. this time of year you can LITERALLY outfit a home for nothing.. seriously.. these students throw everything out from desks to complete dining room sets to beds.. we've already joked kinda to our son that were going to help him set up his first apartment next year with a uhaul and all the furniture we can find.
i love the two stories above. so cute.
