I asked a guy working moving the food and he said the Walmart food section is opening Friday.The old entrance is closed now and you have to use the new entrance.

I stopped in for a look today and almost all of the food had been transferred over to the new section. Isles and shelves gone, it was kind of strange to see it so empty! SCOPed some pepsi while I was there and the cashier was very pleasant about it. Am I nuts enough to go tomorrow? Hell yes!! Can't wait

The grand opening isn't until march. There should be some good deals then but I haven't heard of any for this weekend.

Was just there... am amazed. it's very organized, very well stocked... job well done! There is NO produce yet. Just the same stuff they had before--prganized MUCh better! Produce is still under works... THAT is the part I'm most excited for, lol!!

I SCOPed the same Pepsi, I assume. Cashier was NOT pleasent about it--had to pay the "wrong" price and head up to customer service after. Cashier (not cs) paged the food department. Asked how much "the 6 pack Pepsi is on for?".. 2 seconds later... "$4! Okay, thank you!" Ohhhhhhhh COME ON!!!!!!!! She looked at me and said it's $4. I stared her down like there was no tomorrow. Ooooooooooooo. So I finally said, "okay, that's fine..." and payed... I wans't going to argue -- people behind me and obviously it would take some big head honcho to change her mind about HOW to do a freakin' PRICE CHECK! Geez!

Anyway. CS was lovely. Didn't even do an actualy price check--just told her the cahsier's bullpoop way of helping a customer!!!!! HOWEVER, perhaps this is a change to the WM Supercenter, but the cashier said...

"We still do the Scanning Code of Practise, BUT you need to ASK for it."

Which i spose isn't far from how it has been--not many see to KNOW and do it when it should be done.

Oh! You got a better deal then me! I just got a free 2l. Maybe we had the same cashier, mine made me pay and then go to customer service as well.
I might not go if there is no produce yet. That's what I was really waiting for. I do have some campbell soup coupons to use up tho.

I had a terrible experience there today. The line ups were super long so I had to wait forever and I had the cashier from hell. She argued with me about my coupons and then her phone wasn't working so she couldn't call a manager like I asked for. I had one of the buy 3, save $7 P&G coupons and she was arguing over the Secret deodorant. She was trying to tell me that I got the wrong kind but there are no specifics on the coupon as to what kind you can buy. Then she wouldn't give it back to me so I could show her. In the end, she grudgingly gave it to me. Why the hell does she care??

She also missed one of my $1 coupons even though I mentioned it twice to her that it didn't show up on the screen. I let it go because I just wanted to get out of there but I definitely was not impressed.

The store is definitely coming along but if they keep giving crap service, it won't be worth it to shop there.

My Mum and I were in the Supercentre today too.We spotted the London Drugs manager in the grocery department.It's just like the old grocery department but bigger not impressed.Didn't see any great deals.My Mum just bought three Campbell's tomato soups for $0.50 each -$1.00 coupon I gave her.I found a new kind of instant coffee a few days ago in the old grocery department.Didn't give a price when I scanned it.The new instant coffee was still in the old grocery department today.Still it didn't scan a price again.I take it to the customer service and they say I can't buy it because it has to go to the UPC department.It's so aggravating when you want to buy something and can't.Actually if it was too expensive I wouldn't have bought it.

I stopped in after work today...WOWZA! Everything feels backwards and "not right" LOL now I've got to re learn the whole lay of the land. On the upside, I FINALLY found those Mousse....there was a $1 off coupon (save.ca) for them MONTHS ago (had March 31 exp) and they are two bucks!!! So after my crappy harrowing drive home, I'm testing them out! lol!
