I'm thinking those OTHER people are feeling sorry for this crazy woman getting out of her car to pick up an empty box! (They probably thought you were an extreme environmentalist.)

I've never looked inside my pop cases for coupons. Are they always marked on the outside, indicating that they have a coupon or is it a surprise? If so....how many coupons have I thrown away? YIKES!!!!

I would have gone for the box too!
Last summer we were staying at a motel on vacation and beside where our truck was parked was a recycle box for everyone to throw their cardboard, cans, bottles etc. in. We were getting in the truck to go out and I noticed a Life cereal box on the top with the coupon for a free box of Quaker granola bars on it. I opened the back door of the truck to shield me from view and went in!

People will do funny things. Many years ago, a truckload of frozen turkeys overturned and there were turkeys all over the highway. Needless to say, there were more than a few people snatching up frozen birds. Good for you for grabbing the box, smart gal!

Strange but true. I would have been more worried about being hit by a car that had not stopped than worried about pop. Good score on the coupon.
Just joined Kiva.org, an organization that funds micro-loans to people in developing countries. I love the idea that the $25 I saved in groceries can be given to a fish woman with 5 children in the Philippines to help grow her business.

Double take!!!
Just kidding!!
I would go for the box. I mean come on! What kind of couponer do I look like? Certainly not one who is running around at an intersection to score a can of pop!!
