Thread: Disappearing points

I just noticed that my balance has been reduced from 209,000 to 181,000 points, sometime within last 2 weeks. Last time I bought something was on April 30th, as part of the 18,500 bonus points promo. The receipt stated that amount and when I check my account sometime last week that was still the same amount showing.
I did buy some things that had bonus points attached to them, like the Quo offer but I do not think that I've received enough to equal almost 30,000 over my entire membership. The Quo and some of the other stuff in the last month totaled about 8,000. Last time I redeemed all of them was December/January, so if they do expire, I think that it too early.
Did this happen to anyone else recently and/or what gives? This thread is currently associated with: Shoppers Drug Mart

Did you check them on the site, or was the total sent to you in an e-mail? Sometimes the e-mails are not up to date.
Are you able to look at your points history on the SDM site?

Phew, crisis averted. They are there. The email is misleading because it says that this is the balance as of May 7th, so you'd think it is up to date.

Interesting question, the balance that shows up in the email I receive has been the same for about the last two years. It never adjusts, do you find that the balance on your email changes?

Glad it's okay now!
A few weeks ago, one of my emails showed a ZERO balance; talk about panic for a moment! Must have just been a glitch, because it was corrected quickly without me having to get in touch with them.
glamorous girl, yes, my emails have been reflecting my points, I can compare to receipts since I shop there every week.

I'm wondering where do you go to sign in with your optimum card? When I go to the SDM website I only see the VIB sign up area, nothing else.

The balance definitely changes. The odd thing was that the amount specified in the email was somewhere between the balance of two purchases, so not just missing the last transaction. Oh, well, I'm just glad that they're there.
