I went this morning. By 9 am I thought I was going to get attacked by shopping carts. It was crazy! People were tossing almost anything in their carts. I don't remember the last time I saw that kind of chaos at VV at a 50% off sale.

I live across from one and I never go to the 50% sale cause its too packed and even with the 50% off its still over priced.

I find VV's prices too high also, but sometimes there are some decent finds. I have better luck with Goodwill and Salvation Army.

Paying tax on used clothing is silly.

I look out my condo window and the parking lot is packed. I went over there a few days ago to find a mini skirt and some shoes and it would of been cheaper to get them at GT or WM. On Sunday night people drop off bags and bags of stuff and people just walk over while its closed and go through every thing and they fill up there car with things that are being donated. I like Talize and Goodwill too

I think Salvation Army is the best. They have the sense to seperate their clothing by size unlike the other idiots who just lump everything together in one massive aisle and expect you to go threw it for the whole day to find a few shirts.

I went today and found an outfit (pants, top, shoes, and belt) for $15. Pretty pleased But I agree VV prices are quite high . . . a lot of the pants I was looking at were $9.99. I wouldn't buy it unless it was a 50% day.

I went and managed to find a few things I loved. I bought five things, most of them were around $5 each, one was a $20 coat. The prices are decent during half off days, but they are pretty ridiculous otherwise. And how come only half the store is ever on sale?
All of the ones I went to were pretty packed, but the line-up was never very long...unless you wanted to use the fitting room. That was the first time I saw them implement a numbering system over the speakers!
I just wish they made an effort to announce the correct time. It was actually open at 7am, not 9am!
My talize actually had a half off sale on the same day - things were way better there! The pricing is more reasonable to begin with, and I always find higher quality items there.>>BRAND NAMES up to 90% off* - join BEYOND THE RACK and get $10 FREE!<<
*amended the percentage due to recent sales
