    There's no one way to think about it. It's just one way - I deal with lots of rewards - aeroplan, airmiles, shoppers, hbc, etc so I just convert to actually "buying" value.

    You ask a great question. If the wipes code is worth 20 cents then does that equal a 20 cent off coupon?

    It could be a 20 cent coupon OR you view as "more valuable" like a stamp. So 1 stamp (59c) trades for about $10 in ordinary coupons, so 20 cent (wipe/stamp) = ~ $3 in ordinary coupons.

    There's no "recommended" rules that I know of.

    I've already said that my bias is to see the codes as a bit more valuable (I like codes ) so I'd like ask $1 in regular coupons for wipes code. If you have 5 wipes code (equivalent to $1) I might ask $3 to $5 in ordinary coupons. You might find the trader will feel that it's too low or just right.

    Others can chime in and maybe give examples of their trades?

    Thanks so much for your input, its very helpful. I hadn't thought of it that way but its so good to hear how others work out their trades, especially since I am a newbie here. I really like the way you have worked it out so its more defined.
