Shoppers 20x points event,got my points and only cost me 11.42

Did the SDM 20x points when u spend 50.00 and after coupons and 10.00 GC from the last spend 50.00 get 10gc event my total was 11.42,yippee

I bought 8x2.99 trial nexxus shampoo and used 8x3.00 coupons(my shoppers now has the trial size bottles,first time i have ever seen them there)
2xlisterene total care zero mouthwash 3.99-2x3.00 off listerene zero printable
2xdempsters multigrain bread 2.79 each-1.00 wyb 2 dempsters multigrain(online coupon)
12 x sidekicks at 1.00 each minus 3b3sidekicks get one free
2xvh soya sauce 1.99 each -2.00 wyb any 2 vh sauce

total after coupons was 21.42 minus 10.00 SDM gift certificate=11.42
10,000 SDM points

I thought you could only get the bonus if your total was $50 after coupons. That's what a cashier told me one time.

many cashiers think that but it is actually $50 before coupons. SDM tills treat coupons as a form of cash payment. Your total has to be $50 before tax, then they can take off your coupons and you will get the points. The code for $ off coupons is "2001", so make sure they enter them that way and it will be fine. Free product coupons are different ("2002") and do affect your points.

Yes,Cathy the casheirs at shoppers always tell me i won't get my points if i use coupons to reduce my total and i just say thats ok,if i dont get the points,i will use the coupons anyway and they are always surprised when i get the points anyway,lol

The last time I did this, I didn't get the points. I thought itI was all automated...maybe because the cashier didn't total before entering coupons?

It seems you got points for the 8 Nexxus. If the cashier had entered those coupons as FPC's you wouldn't have gotten to $50. WTG!
