I don't think it should be on trains...I can see too many things happening..I would just keep it on specific threads that people can all contribute to, such as Pampers GTG, Weekly Deals, Save.ca, etc....but hopefully as someone said, it would be nice if we saw who edited what so people can't be nasty and delete other people's work or change it.

It is an option available on ALL threads on the website. But it is up to the thread author (the person who starts the thread) whether they want to make their thread a wiki or not.
So every member has the choice and freedom to wiki their threads. It is not my decision... it is yours

I love the idea as everyone can contribute. But I see a HUGE problem with trolls and people who "think" they are right!!LOL!! But I guess we will never know if we don't try.

When I click on revision it leads me back to the original post where it shows everything up to my addition, but without knowing what I did already, I wouldn't know what I did..unless I click back on the person before me... Instead of having to click on revision, could it not be seen in the big shaded box that has our pic, time and revision on it? for quick and easy viewing?Last edited by sampler; Fri, Feb 4th, 2011 at 08:56 PM.

Well all edit information is public information. Anyone who is caught abusing the system or forcing their subjective point of views will be banned from editing wiki.. yes I have option to ban individuals from using the wiki
The thread author (person who started the thread) has the right to manage their wiki and ask certain members not to contribute to it
The objective of wiki threads is to collaborate in adding information.

Ok this time I wrote something (wikiwonderful) above someone elses post ...and clicked on revision and I couldn't see how clicking on revision helped me determine what I wrote... Unless I missed something, I believe revision only works if we all write one after the other? and even then, if we hit enter, we don't know if the last message was from one person or from more than one... (i hope I explained that clearly)..Last edited by sampler; Fri, Feb 4th, 2011 at 09:01 PM.
