even if he's found guilty of first-degree murder, he might be out in 25 years. canadian punishment oughta be more harsh. how about 3 life sentences served consecutively without the possibility of parole? i would have favored capital punishment, but there're a lot of people against it, so i don't think that one's coming back.

while there's some truth in the article, i find most of mark mackinnon's g&m writings biased. how he came up with jun lin being a narcissist i have no idea. because of his partially nude photos? he was merely looking at himself and commenting how he could improve his body image. i thought a lot of people do that in the comfort of their homes. is mackinnon saying they're narcissistic as well?

in one entry he commented "i know why i got fat in canada... i ate bread with butter everyday!"
in others he shared his exercise and diet plans and wrote "no pain, no gain."
truly a great loss for all.

no, in china he would be handed a death sentence and wait for his execution day. that's it. in some cases, the convicted would appeal and get a lenient sentence instead. china today has changed.

Even if he was guilty of some crime, he didn't deserve to die like that and have his corpse desecrated.

Montreal police later confirmed his capture, and at a 1:30 p.m. press conference they said Interpol had positively identified him through fingerprints.
Magnotta is also facing other charges in Canada, including corrupting morals; causing an indignity to a body; using the mail system to deliver "obscene, indecent, immoral or scurrilous" material; and harassing Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

With respect, I think you have that backwards. Bernardo and Williams were also psychopaths, but their careers spanned many years and they each had many victims. It took the authorities a lot longer to stop them. They are both far smarter than this pathetic little psycho, and therefore far more dangerous. IMHO.
