Thread: First Brag--Super Superstore
-
Thu, Feb 10th, 2011, 03:07 PM #1
I have been a SC for maybe a year now, however have never posted a brag. I do look alot at the brags and get ideas on how to save $$$$$. I decided I would post my first brag--here goes.
RCSS #1
6 X Lipton Cup of Soup (4Pk) Reg. $1.99
6 X Lipton Soup (2Pk) Reg. $1.99
4 X Covergirl Mascara Reg. $6.49
Subtotal= $4.94
Total With Taxes= $5.59
I used 3 Buy Three Get One Free for the soup, so I ended up paying for just three of the soup, because of their BOGO Free
Used their $2.00 Covergirl Coupon X 4, plus 2 save $3 WYB 2 Covergirl, I think I made a bit of $ on this one.
RCSS #2
4 X Sunlight Laundry Detergent Reg. $7.99
6 X Degree for Women the large 76g Reg. $3.49
6 X Covergirl Mascara Reg. $6.49
2 X Hannah Montana Lip Gloss (Cover Girl) Sale $ 1.60
I used $1 X 4 for the Sunlight, $1 X 6 for the Degree, their $2.00 CG x 8 plus 4 save $3 WYB 2 Covergirl, I think I made $ here again
Subtotal = $11.12
With Taxes = $15.43
RCSS does not do a total before coupons and then after coupons, on the first receipt it said I saved $46.88(which was an 89% savings), and the second one $83.92(84% savings)
Walmart X 2
6 X Stouffers Bristo Sale $1.97
1 X Soft Lips(there was 2 in a package) PM'd SDM $1.99
I used 6 X $1.00 Stouffers Coupon, plus $2.00 Soft Lips
Subtotal = $13.81
With Taxes = $14.07
After Coupons = $6.07
I did this shop twice so that I could use the Soft Lips Coupon twice
As well the other day at No Frills they had their Glade Winter Collection Packages on sale, which included 2 French Vanilla Candles and 1 aerosol spray for $2.00 I picked up 5 of them.
Thanks for reading my brag, hopefully I get better at posting them, this one seemed a little long. I do have a picture however have not figured out how to add it, maybe next time.This thread is currently associated with: Knorr, No Frills, Pharmaprix, Real Canadian Superstore RCSS, Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart

That's great! I'm a bit confused about the math on the Sunlight though?

Great Score on the mascara you made about $.51 per tube. I got to remember to use their coupons with manu ones.

WaMart allowed you to PM to a different product......SDM flyer clearly shows that it is the single pack, 'less-expensive' (non-organic, no colour) SoftLips on sale........cashier didn't look too closely.....................I wouldn't recommend anybody else try to 'duplicate' this deal.........

The double pack and the single pack at Walmart were the same price, so the cashier said I could go with the double because they were the same price.

I as well tried the same thing with the double pack as they were the same price as the single pack and there were only a few single pack left. I was told NO I couldn't do it because it shows ONLY the single one in the flyer. You got lucky
