As a cat lover, it took me until today to even be able to read this thread. It hurts so much when we lose our babies! I'm so sorry you lost yours so young and in such an unexpected way. He was a beautiful guy!

thanks, again, everyone for your kindness. my other cat belle is going a little nuts. she's been running all over the house totally hyper and calling for lincoln to come and play. it was a cute game they played together.

i'm still in a funk but i think i am past the point of tears. but i do see him everywhere. a sweater on the chair and i would swear it was him curled up there or a box on the table and from the corner of my eye, i will think it's him. i went through this when my last cat died so i know it will pass but it's hard.
