I am curious. I don't think I ever seen another post about Double Coupon Day at a grocery store. Am I the only person on here who has a store that still does this?
My goal today was to stay under 20.00. I cut it close. It's hard to shop here even with Double Coupon Day because their prices are so high.
Here's what I got for 19.62 OOP
1-Kashi Cereal
1-Hunt's Family Pack of puddings
3-Hunt's tomato sauce
1-Hunt's Spaghetti Sauce
2-Chef Boyardee
3-Alberto Hairspray
2-Campbell's Soup at Hand
1-1.89 Oasis Juice(FPC)
1-1kg jar of Cheese Whiz
1-1L of half and half
2-Kraft Sizzling Salads
1-Renee's dressing
1-Bagged Salad
1-Liberte Greek yogurt(FPC)
6lbs of bananas
1-Clubhouse 8pk seasonings
3-Pints of blueberries
1-MapleLeaf Sausage Patties
1-BlueWater Fish
3-Tang
2-Dove Body Wash
4 dozen eggs
I saved 90.10. I would have bought more but all cupboards, pantries, freezers, and fridges are currently full. This thread is currently associated with: Co-op

Oh, lucky you - our Co-op doesn't even have %off the first Tuesday of the month like other stores do.
Haven't done double couponing since the early '90s in Lloydminster - there the IGA had it.

I love this program. Our co-op (North Battleford) has it the first tuesday of the month as well. It is super awsome when they have the warehouse sale and the double days like last month. I saved about half on my grocery bill(by using coupons as well of course).

It used to be awesome. CO-OP and Sobeys ran double coupon day every Wednesday and Safeway and IGA did it Thursdays so between the four, you could get everything you need. The others have all stopped so just CO-OP left and most of the time, it's still cheaper to just use my coupons at RCSS. It's great for the banana and berry coupons though!
