Finally did it... First hair cut in almost 4 years!

I've always had short hair, never longer than my shoulders. I'd dye it every other month and put in new colors, literally every color of the rainbow. Finally one day I got tired of it and decided I was not going to cut my hair anymore.

I refused to walk into a salon, if I wanted bangs I cut them myself. But other than that everything else stayed the way it was.


DH loved it, he was so amazed with how long it was getting. But then once it hit a certain point he hated it, for months he was nagging about my 'hippie' and 'old lady' hair. I wanted a new style but didn't want to give up what I waited so long for.

Friday night DH was on a rant again about my hair and finally offered to take me to a salon, all on him.
I told him only if he paid for a dye job too. He agreed and I called and made the appointment for the next afternoon.

Sitting in that chair I was so nervous, and I cringed as she took the scissors to my hair....

But let me tell you...
I AM SO IN LOVE WITH IT!!!
She even straightened it out for me and everything, I couldn't be happier. I feel like a fresh new woman.

i remember the first time i cut off all my hair a few years ago to like 6 inch long. I bawled like a baby after. thankfully my hairdresser understood. now my hair is past my shoulders again.. ima wantin to cut it again.

i know what you mean,getting hair cuts is just another added expense!!Especially with the prices of everything nowadays! I have a hard time keeping up, on average i probably go once every few months...sometimes longer!
