i too believe it's an isolated murder case.

of course it's not random or isolated.... she was targeted, probably gang related.... unpaid debt or retribution.

i wonder what kind of "spa" she was running.......

Ex-boyfriend charged with 2nd-degree murder in Toronto area body parts case

BRAMPTON, Ont. - An ex-boyfriend of a woman whose body parts were found scattered in two Toronto-area parks has been charged in her death.


Insp. George Koekkoek (KOH'-kik) says the 40-year-old man is charged with second-degree murder in what he describes as a "domestic-related homicide."


Chun Qi Jiang (JUNE KEE ZHANG) was arrested in Toronto on Sunday and remanded into custody when he appeared in court today.


Koekkoek says Jiang had a four-year relationship with Guang Hua Liu (GWANG-WAH-LOO), 41, and the couple was recently estranged. He did not know exactly when the relationship ended.


Lui was reported missing on Aug. 11, one day after her friends dropped her off in front of a now-defunct spa she used to own called Forget Me Not Health Centre in east Toronto.
On Aug. 15 Liu's right foot was found in the Credit River in Mississauga, Ont., about 45 kilometres west of her home. Liu's head and hands were later discovered in the river in the Hewick Meadows Park area. Two calves, a thigh and an arm were found in West Highland Creek, just blocks from where she lived.
Forensic tests determined all the remains belonged to Liu, but police still do not know how she died.

according to her 21 yr old son, the victim had many boyfriends, each of them believing he was the only one. she was in a 4 yr relationship with the suspect and broke up with him around the time of her murder.

she had a townhouse in scarborough but rarely lived there. most recently she had a fight with her caucasian boyfriend ken, and she moved out of his place in peterborough and returned to the scarborough townhouse.

the son said ken gave his mother monthly living allowances and gave her $30,000 to start her own business. when ken found out the business was a spa, he didn't like it and insisted that she close it and do something else. the whole thing about "moving to china with her husband" was a bluff. she went to china in february and after she was back, she told her son that she had no plans to visit there any time soon.

the son said not many people knew his mother had numerous boyfriends. ken only found out after police started their investigation.

her other two children are living with their father here. she didn't visit them much. she only saw them when they celebrated their birthdays.

how on earth did a women of 41 years old have so many boyfriends?
i bet they were either "customers" or she met them online
like how did she ever hook-up with a caucasian archetiect from Petorbourough of all places

Boaters located a suitcase floating on Lake Ontario on Wednesday off Bluffer's Park in east-end Toronto.
Police say an autopsy conducted on Thursday on the badly decomposed torso positively identified the remains as those of Guang Hua Liu.

I thought the torso they found in the Niagara river was hers but it turns out it's another mother of three living in Niagara Falls
