I could not believe it!!!!

I wanted to share this story here and see how many of you agree with me. What I saw today just digusted me. I was hoping to use my FREE Nestea coupons today at Sobeys. There were two cases left on the shelf that showed they had the FREE coupons on them. When I pulled the cases out SOMEONE had literally cut the coupons off the boxes on both boxes. I Could not Believe It. Who ever is doing this is creating a bad name for every good and honest couponer out there. PLEASE STOP DOING THIS. So I decided to turn a bad deed into a good one and gave one of my FREE coupons to a fellow shopper who shared a story with me of her struggles trying to feed her family and helped her out with even more coupons. I feel like I conquered an evil deed with good.

People will do anything for a free product. It's quite sad. Open boxes of tampons because someone wanted the coupons. Seriously something wrong with people these days.

That's just so revolting. As mentioned before, some people will really do anything to get the coupons...but that's just low. Good for you though...the feeling of helping someone out cannot be bought!

When I was at the WM near me I saw cops in the parking lot and the cashier said someone caught a woman with scissors taking all the coupons from the nestea. Made her pay for all the damaged boxes and charging her. I don't know with what maybe tampering or stealing my friend thought. At the Loblaws I always see open Tampax boxes so now there is a woman working in those aisles. A few months ago I saw peelies gone from a product and then that day the person in my area had them on Ebay. Horrible.

I can't fathom doing such a thing....stealing a coupon from packaging as I can honestly say I have never done this and people who do should be ashamed of themselves.

So sad... I'm surprised that they haven't caught the culprit yet. I've also seen other people rip coupons hanging around products off to use them... Perhaps companies need to have a system where the coupon can't be used unless you bought the product, and the coupon knows if you bought it or not...

It bugs me when people describe a thief as a bad couponer and "it makes us all look bad" .. thats like saying a shoplifter makes all shoppers look bad.. I use coupons but certainly don't consider myself to be responsible for anyones behavior but mine.
