What's Up With Sobeys Not taking Save.ca COupons

Has anyone else had problems with Sobey's? They wouldn't take save.ca coupons. They said there not allowed to???? Never heard of this before. I don't shop there very often so wasn't sure. They two casheirs me and my mom were dealing with were telling us. The guy was really snarky about it and said there is too many fakes out there so there not allowed to take them. It all started when my moms cashier wouldn't take her coupon for pasta. I had to giggle to myself and once I got of the store started laughing really loud my mom didn't know what was funny well MrHigh or Mighty took my save.ca free mars bar I didn't know the info about not taking coupons till he put it through so no was not trying to pull a fast one I wasn't going to tell him after he already redeemed it!

I don't have Sobeys here but i went to Metro last week and they actually quizzed me about a Save coupon - and i've used them there before!
The coupon was given a very thorough look over by the cashier , then the csm - and then they asked me where i got it from??
Not sure what that is all about!
I'd contact save and tell them you couldn't use it, and ask Sobeys themselves what the problem is...Maybe it was just one of those irritating cashier days??!!

No problem at our Sobey's with save coupons, or any other legit ones.

i don't have a sobey's here but i have read that some people are having problems using save.ca at sobey's

Mine are fine about them but since they don't take printed coupons, the cashiers may be confused as to what is a printed coupons

I've never had any issues with save.ca coupons at Sobey's, but they DO look every coupon over very closely!!

I use the self-checkouts at Sobeys and I never have a problem with coupons. I just give them to the staff member there and she rings them in no questions asked. She doesn't even check my bags to see I purchased the items.

My sobeys takes them just fine, it even accepts printables!!!(MIL called and asked for me the other day.. lol)

nope wasn't cofussed I told her there save.ca and get deleviered to the address and she said no

I've had trouble with save.ca coupons at Sobeys.Some cashiers think they are printables.I explained they are mailed to me.

I've never had problems with save.ca coupons. I usually have a few to use each week. Maybe it depends on the store? You could also try contacting someone at the head office to check!

they are Procter n Gambles coupons the site is the largest and one of the most reputable sites in Canada he must have thought they were printables.
