    our store opens an hour early.... it's been open for 15 mins. thought about getting there for 6 but if you go too early the produce isn't always out.

    Happy Caturday!

    Good morning! Just got the ham in the oven - I smell all garlicky, no matter how many times I wash my hands - from studding the meat with garlic cloves.

    Husband made egg-cheese last night, it hangs to form overnight - looks great!

    Will bake sausage after the ham cooks a while.

    This afternoon is the blessing of Easter baskets at the Cathedral, so have to make sure all foods are ready for that.
    Have the cabbage leaves thawed to make holubtsi as well.

    It's going to be a busy day! Hope you all have a good one!

    My adventure for the day was trying to find the Kinder mini egg bags because I received a FPC for them on Thursday and it expires on Monday..... Talk about short expiry dates! I could not find any of the bags at any of the stores because they were sold out LOL. I finally gave up and sent the FPC with my son and GF and told them if they could find them all the power to them LOL.

    So tired now, on the go since about 6:00 a.m. Prepped almost all the things I wanted to make for tomorrow, the cheesecake is in the hot water bath cooking now, oh and whoever gave that idea about cooking the skinless/boneless chix thighs in a muffin tin THANK you!! They turned out adorable, tight little balls of chicken. I used 2 different sauces for the top. GF/salt free brands made 1/2 of them honey mustard and 1/2 ginger!

    Went to walmart on Thursday afternoon was so busy. Was crazy there but I took my time and got what I wanted. New jacket, shoes, some food etc. A lot of places like dollarama stayed open till 10pm on Thursday.
