Good morning!!!
All alone for most of today; the guys went to out campgrounds to stack and cover the cord of wood they had delivered to their trailer for next summer, so it's just me and wall-to-wall NFL today! Yay!
It's nicer with Hubby here, but it's still the highlight of my week. :)

Gosh I'm tired this morning. Doesn't take much these days; one little cocktail party and dinner out and I feel like I've been run over by a truck. And not just any truck; a mac truck! Several times over...back and forth. :neutral: And it rained last night, too, so it just looks miserable out there, which means I'm not motivated to start on that baby quilt today...which is okay, since 'the kids' aren't going down there until late in the month, so I have lots of time to make it.

And how is YOUR day, guys?? Is it a jammie-day where you are, too? :)
I hope you all have a relaxing day and that it's sunny where you are!!!

Good Morning one and all.. Sure wish it was warmer then it is.. Don't understand.. +10C freezing this time of year.. and so warm in March.. Go Figure..

:eek: Was there really a sprinkling of snow in Calgary yesterday?! Oh, dear, no...I'm just not ready for that!!! Of course, I'm never ready for that stuff; this year is my first year of walking on that stuff and oh, gosh, it's a scary thought.....:yikes:

I'm such a wimp! I just watched a documentary on the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald and I'm sitting here in tears and it happens every time I hear Gordon Lightfoot singing that song....whew..enough, time to head back to my happy NFL games.....wimp....

^^^ ha ha you sap!! ( I am the same, sometimes a good commercial makes me cry!! )

So the last 6 bags of the roma tomatoes came out of the freezer this a.m. , I skinned and blended them all, the mixture will be simmering most of the day here. I am not processing them in jars though, but instead making up a few pasta dishes
( probably lasagna, chicken Parmesan, I have meatballs formed too ) and when all is cooked/coolled I'll freeze them up in individual servings.
Jays start in 1/12 hrs!!

As to your question: they hate themselves so much, they have to tear other people down to make themselves feel superior. The only thing that does, of course, is to make themselves look exactly like what they are: bitter, critical and hateful people.

Oh, no - is drama starting again? Gah.

My cousin posted pics of snow at the lake they go to - a few hours northwest of here, but no snow at their farm about an hour closer.

Yah. Okay. You're absolutely right, lol..."thin skinned" as my Mom used to say....Glad to see I'm not the only one who gets teary-eyed at some commercials!

Lordy, Girl, when do you STOP!!?? You exhaust me. I did one load of laundry today, and put dinner into a crock pot and I'm done. :) I seem to be sleeping well, right through the night, but I'm waking up feeling like I've been run over by a pretty darn big truck. This has to stop...it's entirely unmotivating......

Funny, I have tons of energy and fantastic ideas very early in the a.m. ( like around 5:00 ) and I can sometimes go like a spinning top working on a few things all at the same time ( cooking I mean ) but then I hit a wall and suddenly it is nap time!!
It is so lovely to just lay on the sofa and doze off for 1/2 hr, or more sometimes , then jump right back into what I was doing.

That is my secret Lynn, I nap!!
The motivation for me to get those roma tomatoes going today was I needed the freezer space back! Those 6 bags took up way too much room, glad that is done now.

JANet(Joint Acdemic NETwork)..linked UK Universities with companies sponcering/supporting scientific research..I was in R&D in a major UK company
