Nat, I'm painting my favourite bird this time: a seagull!!! Yep, prettiest birdie with the prettiest sound..:cheesygrin: Or...I just love their attitudes! I've done a soft pink sky already, so before class tomorrow (gosh the week goes by so fast!), I want to put a soft yellow glaze below it to blend into the pink, to look like sunset...maybe a tich of purple or blue...ah, well...it will be what it will be!
Well, big news: our SIL handed in his resignation yesterday at work, to become a Stay-at-Home-Dad!! They're both very excited about it all, and it's going to make things so much easier for their family. With our DD's crazy work schedule, they were passing in doorways and as they said, they were paying someone else to clean the house every week, and provide morning and after-school care for our grandson, as well as summer-school...this way life will become less stressful for everyone. I'm so proud of him for doing this for his family...he's an incredible Son-In-Law, bless his heart!!! he's so looking forward to planning dinners and has "at least 5 years worth" of projects in the house. Which looks perfect to me, but who knows what he has planned?! :)
Other than that...we're pretty much off the clock as far as our Grandson is concerned..no having to pick him up early from school to get him dinners so that he can run out to swimming, skating and ju-jitsu each week...no PA days here...gosh, we'll have to make sure he has a sleep-over here now and then. Like...Friday, when the kids are going to friends' for dinner!
Is it sunny where everyone else is, too? What a gorgeous day! I've put down my knitting to take wee Jenny to the dog park, then to get her nails trimmed; it won't be a more beautiful day than this, I'm guessing!!
