Thanks Lynn. You know it. I'm wiped, and I don't have it nearly as badly as you do.
As I get weaker, it's harder & harder to do anything, even transfer from the w/chair to the couch, etc.
Oh well, 1 day @ a time.

Yes, Hicks, it takes far more energy that what you have in reserve right now, but I assure you that your strength will return when the time is right. I promise. For now, don't worry about things you think you "must" do, and get all the rest you can. In a few weeks you'll be walking around like a toddler, but that's normal...you will be well on the road to a complete recovery. It just takes time, Hon...physio therapy will guide you through that process, so just rest, watch all the Christmas movies and shows, sleep, and pet Jake (who will also bounce back, believe me..Jenny was in bed with me almost a year and she's no worse for wear..).

Dan, oh, goodness, I'm so sorry it hit the fan for you today; how wretched. I know you'll get everything sorted out in good time...Hugs, Sweetheart...

Off to bake some cookies, of which I will sample none!

Our son is coming over for supper - I'm not cooking, husband will pick up food on his way home from work.
I think Milan will see quite a difference with Taffy, she's just so much stronger. Still very delicate, though.
When he's over, Taffy pretty much just stays in his lap, or draped over him in some way - which they both love!

I'm p!$$ed with myself today..

At the back of a cupboard I found a box of stuff...going through it, I found some Good Luck cards, a few postcards , some old pay-chits and at the very bottom....


The training manuals and paperwork from a job I hated..My first real proper grown-up job..

I also found all the paperwork leading up to me being "let go"...It wasn't a good fit job for me and I hated it!

I met a few people I'm still in touch with now...but yowzers..those $h!t memories this crap brought back.

I burnt the lot of 'em....


The only good thing that came out of that job was that it made me stop cruising and look for something I wanted to do...and that job lead me to met the future Mr P.....


I'm annoyed I kept this crud for over 30 years...and I'm sad that it still affected me today...
