Yesterday I spend the afternoon carefully cutting out my new top, all 7 pieces and wanted to sew today but since we didn't get to drop stuff off at St Vincent de Paul yesterday, we're heading out there after hubby's home from golfing. And I need to scour new (or find my) RV recipes for camping season since we tire so quickly with bbq stuff. So, busy times!!

My sweet husband gathered an armful of lilacs from the front, put them in a vase, and brought them to me here in the computer room. Oh, they smell SO amazing!!! They aren't perfectly open, but are so lovely! Ours are a light purple, my fave colour of them.
The Lilacs aren't out here just yet...with all the ups and downs we've had with the weather, I don't think the bushes know what to do.Quote:

I totally agree: the light "lilac" coloured ones are still the best and, I think, the most fragrant! Enjoy!!!
Good news - Everything is sorted, the credit union will credit us the money back tomorrow. It was just under 1,800 - seven transactions over four days - plus the service charge for each because they were on US ATMs - gah!
We weren't the only ones this happened to - and I know we won't be the last. It was my husband's debit card which was compromised.
So, a big sigh of relief.
