Anyway so confused on where to shop tomorrow. Changed my mind between metro, giant tiger, Walmart, food basics several times. I'm driving myself nuts over here lol. Also not sure where to go for lunch ha. Boston pizza, coffee warehouse (has a chef with nice lunch) radical gardens(a store also with a chef and good lunches) Sivas, Montana's. Hmm;)
Recently went to Montanas since it's Grandson's favourite restaurant and I had the chicken fajitas...meh. I've had better, but I've also had worse. They don't skimp on portions, though, do they?! :)Quote:

Yeah @Lynn49 I like big portions lol. Might go to radical gardens tomorrow (not a chain ;) they have their own farm and a small store/restaurant. Tomorrow's lunch is carne asada tacos. It's about 2 1/2 blocks from me.

A quiet day/weekend with the kids gone: it's our Grandson's b'day trip to Toronto (he chose it over a traditional b'day party)...today Wonderland, tomorrow Science Centre then Midieval Times dinner, Sunday some sort of reptile place in Vaughan on the drive home.
DH will likely drive to camp today or tomorrow to retrieve our potted plants since we won't be there this weekend nor the next (DH's 70th b'day trip to TO), so we'll need them here to care for. I'm going to cut something out for myself from one of the patterns/fabrics I bought yesterday..

@cabmonk , @dart hPenguin, although we have a pretty large community here (over 160,000 people and growing), bistros tend to be in the downtown area where we don't really go...nothing much to do or see there, or scattered in outlying areas and are very often the "greasy spoon" variety which is great if one isn't watching one's figure...:redface: Which, unfortunately I always seem to be doing!! Grrr....

So all my groceries and laundry is done. I took my laundry to a place that is a 20 min bus ride. But it's a place in same building as foodland. While clothes were drying I went to food land. Then after I dropped everything off at home I went to pine dairy bar. Double Bacon cheese burger with fries and a drink was $17. But so good, everything is fresh. Attachment 312989
Oh yeah and my laundry smelled so bad on the bus. Like dirty socks reeked lol. I think a girl sat behind me and then moved. ;)
Just me again lol. One thing I bought at foodland today was 2 packs of meat ends for $2.50 each. Years ago I started buying meat ends. My friend was like yuk what are you going to do with all those useless leftover cold cut pieces. When I told him I like to chop them up and use as pizza topping, he was like omg what a good idea lol.
