Ha, I wish!
WHAT a gorgeous day out there today!!
I got nothing done!
Oh, hang on, I did laundry: I tossed my white Coach handbag into the washing machine and crossed my fingers.
Seems to have made it through the process perfectly and is now hanging to dry.
Work, work, work!!!https://smileyshack.files.wordpress....ry_100-107.gif
Have a lovely evening, everyone!
@22hicks , that's honestly how I am in the morning. I find my way to the coffee-maker and DH says, "Good morning!!", and I tell him that I recognize the voice, but my eyes aren't open yet...I have terrible vision and it takes so long to convince my eyes to function in the morning; good thing the coffee-maker isn't difficult to locate. On days when it is, I plunk down on the sofa to adjust to the light, but my Hubby gets it for me, the Sweetheart...
With my double vision and deep prisms, plus my astigmatisms, my eyes really don't like sunlight in the mornings; I take a while to wake up. Unlike DH who can get up, pour a coffee and immediately make breakfast for himself!! Uck! I can't even think about food for an hour or so....weird we're such opposites in so many ways..:)
Opposites attract, haven't you heard @Lynn49. :) That's nice of him; he sounds so sweet.
My eyes are much worse in the morning too. but I can ALWAYS find the coffee maker. lol
Oh, thank you for the rep. It was a fairly busy day, but I did lay out in the sun for about 1/2 an hour. :)
Well, it's getting close to bed time, so I'll say good night.
Hiya! Well, I'll chime in and say opposites most certainly do attract, as with the two of us here. Basic core stuff is the same, seems like everything else is vastly different. However, our son has always loved it because he's always said he's gotten the best of both of us, which is why he's so well-rounded and amazing!
I've had several very awful sleeping (or lack of) nights, so while I napped this afternoon, my husband went to visit one of his brothers - who recently retired as a priest in Regina, and moved into a Villa here. He'll be going next week to Yugoslavia (well, it's now Serbia) to visit their mom and other family - wish he could pack us in his luggage!
So now husband is snoozing on the couch, and I'm just wasting time - and trying to keep cool; it's awfully muggy in here.
One of the good things about Penguinette1 studying in Morryall is that I get to shop and eat in places that I wouldn't have found otherwise. I find chains like Thai Express, KimChee Vie Et Nam and the Indian one not authentic and very bland.. I lurve spicy food..

Happy Sunday everyone.Attachment 313037
So true, @22hicks , @Natalka ....yes, the basic beliefs are identical, but that's where it stops...I'm emotional and can be up or down depending on what's going on around me and he's the calm in my storms; I'm the "let's do that!', which we usually do, which otherwise he wouldn't venture to do, so that's the balance. He is my safe place to land, yet gets caught up in my big and small adventures. Isn't marriage an adventure, though?!
So how's the weather where you are? It apparently rained heavily overnight, but I heard none of it, and it continues to drizzle; I just hope the kids's drive home is safe today. @Natalka , I saw the heat-wave hitting you on the weather channel this morning; wow! It must be stiffling out west. Have you had enough rain for the farmers out there? This heat musn't be too great for the crops, I'm guessing...
Well, DH and I put a nice dent in the storage area we have in our crawl space; I basically sat in a chair and reached around into the boxes close to me and DH brought other boxes which we went through until his back was sore from being hunched over down there. Poor guy. But he's happy about the stuff going to St. Vincent de Paul tomorrow and the stuff that's going into the garbage, so all's well; he's watching the Jays now, and I'm taking a well-deserved break on here.
Stay warm, dry and cool, Ladies!!
Lynn, it's hot here - and ever so humid. I'm using the slow cooker to do a ham, because I didn't want the oven to be on so long. Have to think of sides, though...
Over the last few weeks most places got rain - so farmers were happy because seeding was just completed, but I know they would like more.
There wasn't much snow in central SK over the winter, the south had more - so not much snow melt.
Just popping in to say HI!! and to let you all know that SC now has a Facebook coupon group.
