hicks!! I KNOW the thrill of Deep Sea Fishing too!! When I was 6 mo. preggers with DS#1 we flew to Florida and the tour guy tried to discourage me from going on the boat saying I'd be SOOO sick, etc. DH said I'd be fine...and I was THE one who caught the largest fish ( a 35 lb Cobia!! )Quote:

Hello, everyone!
Quiet weekend at camp except for the trip to emerg with our Daughter!
For over (over!!!!) a week now, she'd been having back pain and a heaviness in her chest (elephant), so finally her hubby insisted she go to emerg, so she came and got me (here hubby stayed with their little guy) and off we went. Long story short, after many tests, she was diagnosed with esophogeal spasms. The doctor, bless her heart, experienced the same earlier on, and said those symptoms would have absolutely sent her to emerg, too! So WHEW!! She now has meds for reducing acid, and I hope to God they help her!
We tend to say guys wait too long??!! How about Type A Daughters who think they can plow through and will this stuff away??!! Honestly, I'd been scared since she told me about her symptoms and lordy, relieved to no end when we finally drove back to camp!!
And how were YOUR weekends, folks??!!

Gee, Lynn, hope your daughter gets back to rights soon - that would be scary.
Well, our son just left - had a yummy supper (if I do say so myself, lol! I love making ribs!), and a great visit. He left early because he was tuckered out from working on his truck all weekend - he's been welding on new panels (?) to the bottom of his truck, which were rusted out.
He's just such a sweetie, and I love him to bits! :)
So I'm going to make the rounds on the net for a bit, then head to bed with a good book!

Well, I REALLY did a number on my back a couple of weeks ago and it's only getting worse, so I finally called the chiropractor this morning; I would have had a 9am appt tomorrow morning, but I have a doc's appt then, so I'll try to do what I can to at least take the edge off the pain until then. Robax platinum doesn't even begin to touch the pain. Grrr.
I haven't touched base with our DD since it's Monday morning and she is usually so busy and particularly today, after a week off at camp. I hope she's feeling better, I emailed her so when she has a second, she'll get back to me.
*She's feeling better!

-lynn -glad your daughter got looked at and found out what it was -my daughter is similar to yours in personality for sure -she moved her doctor's apt from Monday to Friday this week (she is 8 months pregnant)as she had an important meeting today at work
-I am on a high as my grandson to be will be here soon around sept 14 -coming soon -picking him up few clothing itmes here and there -we went in on a awesome stroller for him with his other grandparents as a gift
