Temp today supposed to reach 23 but next couple days 14, Thurs back to 19. Being timmins the temps usually go down pretty fast as fall approaches though.

This should be the only one cold day; we should be getting nearer to 20 for the rest of the week.

G'day everyone!!!
Was on the run earlier today to pick up bits and bobs for this pillow and stocking, but back to the salt-mine shortly!!

@avoncallingu, I use a similar reference, esp with our Grandson: "A promise made is a debt unpaid" from The Cremation of Sam McGee by Robert Service...love that poem, lol and many of his others. One day I hope to read that one to the little nugget.
@walkonby, so horrible about the Jays' performances lately; what in the world has gotten into them?! I do, however, compensate their poor plays with my Packers games... Last night's game drove me up a wall, though...how New England can keep winning, even with a novice quarterback while Romo's serving his cheating penalty is beyond me! Ah well, another year of yelling at the tv...poor DH just smiles; he knows how hard I have to work to make my teams win!!

@Natalka, wow...that's got to be chilly to fire up the furnace. We're sitting at 23 on a gorgeous sunny day, some wind but still beautiful. Like @walkonby, I do enjoy fresher weather in the early fall...emphasis on "early"! Nice that it's going to warm up for you soon.

As for you, Mr @danger_dan, perhaps it's time for a vitamin regime for you, hm?? You work hard at a job that's very stressful at times (all the time?), so perhaps your body could use a little help coping with it all....A good multi-vitamin. That should do your body good, little one.

Okay...time to get busy.

Walker, Nat, etc - I can't agree with you. I DON'T like frost, and walking the dog in 8 degree temps is WAY TOO COLD !!! It's not bad in the sun, in the afternoons, but geez they temps dropped quickly.

I too am really upset about the Jays. I can actually watch the game tonight, so hopefully they'll pull out of their slump.

I've been so busy lately. I was going to take the w/end off, but that didn't happen.
I'm off early again tomorrow. I'm having a bone density test @ the hospital, then off to hit up a few more businesses.

I am so annoyed! I typed out a good long post and now my laptop is frozen! BLICK! With my old one I could just pop out the battery. Wait, and then start again.
I have not been able to do that and I have lost my patience with the whole process! Poopy! Been fighting back a migraine all day and Don't want to take any more meds!

Come on Blue Jays! Make us all happy!

Good morning, folks!

Just waking up to a lovely day.

Sadie Mae gets to meet the vet today. Just a once over and to check what kind of flea and tick and heartworm meds we should be using.

Have to make a visit to the ReStore today to see if they have any hanging shelving to hold my craft things in the second bedroom. As the balcony gets emptied of boxes, the guest bedroom fills up with things that have no "home" as yet- scrapbooking and knitting things.

But, one can never make definite plans here until DH gets up and weighs in on how he feels.
