Just before my BFF got ill, we were planning to do silk scarf paintings. Ours sure would have been quite different: she, being Japanese, could produce such detailed work and me, I'd probably just dribble paint colours onto the silk and let them mingle! Much like my watercolouring does now! :tongue:

Morning everyone. Fresh out of the hospital after another two week stay. Sorry for not being on here more, I've missed everyone so very much. Health update, after a two week stay they also decided I have crohns disease:(. Heading back to hospital on the 29th for more radiation to try and nip the colon cancer is the butt (pardon the pun). I'm feeling much stronger now and am just struggling to put some weight back on.
Ive really missed everyone and hope you are all doing well. Have an amazing day everyone

Well, four hours since I posted last time, and I'm a LOT more perky now. Just finished making a fruit pizza for my men tonight - well, it's more of a strawberry one, since that's the only fruit I used - but it will still be yummy. Taffy sure enjoyed licking the spatula and bowl from the cream cheese mixture!

Milan's coming to do our lawn after work, and to have supper - so I like to have a special dessert when he comes. Actually, often the guys eat so much for supper they don't have room for anything else through the evening, but he'll take some home anyway.

Plans for the day- get some paperwork caught up
Work on a ceremony for a couple I will be marrying in Oct.
Book my train trip to Kitchener next Monday to celebrate my brother's birthday. That little scally-wag will be turning 55!
I remember when I was in high school he would come into my bedroom and bug me (well want to play some game) and I would tell him to get lost.
Then he would run out and down the hall to tell our mum. I had it timed perfectly to know when he would reach the end of the hall and I would yell out, "Mum You know what (Avon) did?"
He would collapse in giggles! He still laughs at all my jokes!
Love him to bits!

Oh, I can't forget- watch at least one episode of " Murdoch Mysteries"
Tell DH I love him.

Do you believe that the City of London charges a "Change of Ownership" fee when you buy a new home? Yikes! In Chatham it's just word of mouth. Someone says, " Did you know that Avon is moving into the old Smith place?" And 10 minutes later, the whole town knows!
