So the storm never hit us here, how about you guys? The wind gusts were kinda nasty through the night but nothing compared to some other places.

Windy and rainy with power out in some areas of the city but no major damage

They said while area's won't be effected full on by the storm they said the effects would be felt 1000 miles in any direction. They said here in Timmins 50km/hour wind gusts, snow, ice pellets.

not too bad here had the top 8ft of a tree fall but it missed everything. And that was the closest tree to the house .

i'm just outside the barrie area and it was pretty windy and rained all day yesterday/last night. no power loss though. i just hope it clears up for the little trick or treaters tomorrow evening.

heh FP, Dan, Sheets.. well not a bad night here except alot of wind. supposedly we haven't seen the worse yet.. go figure.
dinner is in the crockpot. will be making dessert later. some tidying up later. nearly finished a project im working on. very happy. one more to go.

heh Dan. dinner is pork chops in a cream of mushroom sauce, 'baked' potatoes in the crockpot, and stirfried peppers/onions/mushrooms.
wine sounds fabulous.
btw hows the wife. is she feeling better. did your homemade soup do the trick.

Sounds delicious.
We had mustard sauce pork chops last night, with baked potatoes and mixed veggies, and a spinach salad.

She's doing much better thanks, just a slight lingering cough. The soup did do the trick
