You don't need it to go on SC. I just use it because its so handy. My fav app by far.

Just makes everything faster. Like I just hit the icon and choose what forum to go to. Then everything is saved for me. I usually have it on participated threads (chat a thon always seems to be near the top. lol) but you can also go to all threads and it automatically updates (latest posts) or of course you can go to the different forum sections.
